Prayers For Our Church

Pray for our church each day at noon. Its goals, its mission, its future. Please keep all the workers and our church family in your prayers as we move forward in our journey with God.

Remember in Prayer

Please pray for those dealing with health problems and grief.  Those who are shut in.  Those looking for work. Pray for those who have been moved from far away to be treated here. Pray for safe travels for those traveling.

Flat River Outreach Ministries

Lowell/Alto/Bowne Center Families benefit from our food items that are donated on the first Sunday of the month. There is a great need for food items in the food pantry. The food pantry can use: fruit, fruit juice, boxed potatoes, tuna fish, pasta, cake mixes, cereal, peanut butter, soup, vegtables, tomatoes, pasta sauce, hamburger helper. In these tough times the shelves are bare. Any donations are appreciated. (We will take donations at any time.)

Worship

Whether you consider Alto UMC your "home" church, or you just want to know more about worshipping with us, we welcome you. Check out our website and join us this Sunday morning. Dress however you like. At Alto you'll see blue jeans and suit coats alike. Nursery is provided during worship. Children's Sunday School is during worship service.

Worship Service is at 9:30 A.M. Traditional hymns are usually in our order of worship.

Fellowship Sunday is the first Sunday of every month with refreshments after worship.

Mission Statement

God is calling us to continue to grow spiritually as individuals and as a congregation to strengthen us to reach out and spread God's word.

Daily Prayer

Most High God, open our eyes to the power of your Spirit, that we may strive for more time than the ways of this world. Open our lives to the fullness of your power, that we be clothed with power from on high. Amen

Meijer Community Rewards, a program which pays an organization for members using a Meijer Credit Card is adding dollars to our building fund. Gas purchases also count towards Community Rewards.
